Thanksgiving Hours

The Marianna Kistler Beach Museum of Art will be closed November 26 and November 27.

On Saturday November 28 the galleries will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Sunday November 29 from noon to 5 p.m.

Upcoming Exhibitions

Following the Sun: The Art of Sue Jean Covacevich 1905-1998

January 29, 2010 – May 2, 2010

Sue Jean Covacevich established herself as a dynamic artist and art educator in south-central Kansas after spending more than a decade working and teaching in Mexico. This exhibition surveys the career of this native of Wellington, Kansas, who spent most of her career in Winfield, a community southeast of Wichita.

Gail Gregg: The Album Series

January 29, 2010 – May 2, 2010

This exhibition features recent work by Gail Gregg, a K-State alumnus and New York City-based artist.

Friends of the Beach Museum of Art

The purposes of the Friends of the Beach Museum of Art are to raise funds through membership dues and projects for the acquisition of art and to assist in the conservation of the Marianna Kistler Beach Museum of Art collection.
