Mission Statement
The Marianna Kistler Beach Museum of Art collects, cares for, and interprets the visual art of Kansas and the region. The museum is integral to the research and teaching mission of Kansas State University. The museum presents challenging
learning opportunities to engage, educate, and enrich.
Vision Statement
We will be the premier center for the study and appreciation of Kansas art. We will:
- vigorously collect and research
- present exhibitions and programs of local and national interest
- make a significant contribution to university life
- connect visitors to art to enrich their lives
- maintain high professional standards
- be an integral part of regional culture
- be a destination point
