Earth Works: Selections from the Permanent Collection
June 4, 2013 - August 4, 2013.
From geology to mythology, from archeology to sedimentology, the earth has many stories. It is often referred to as "Mother." It is the source for food, fuel, and even art supplies. It is revered and feared. In conjunction with the Kansas Library Association summer 2013 reading theme "Dig into Reading," the Beach Museum of Art at Kansas State University invites you to explore some of the many facets of the earth, seen through the eyes of artists in the permanent collection.
