Central to the mission of the Marianna Kistler Beach Museum of Art is the acquisition of art from Kansas and the region. We preserve the more than 6,500 objects in the collection and make them available for exhibitions, teaching, and research. In addition, each year the Beach Museum of Art presents a robust schedule of exhibitions and a diverse number of programs for various audiences.
To help us maintain our present level of activity, your support is requested. Your contributions enable us to bring children, adults, and seniors together with art, to encourage creative thinking, and to preserve the treasures of the past for future generations.
There are many ways individuals, businesses, and foundations can support the museum and we would be pleased to work with you to meet your interests and needs. Gifts of any amount are gratefully acknowledged and will be used following the wishes of the donor.
A gift can be unrestricted or designated for a specific purpose. For instance, gifts can be designated to purchase art focusing on a specific media, time period, or other donor interest; for exhibition development; for educational programming targeting children, students, adults, or seniors; to undertake a specific research project; for publications, lectures, symposia, or seminars; to establish student internships in the curatorial, registration, education, exhibitions, or marketing areas; or for gallery maintenance.
Gifts can be given in memory or honor of a family member or a friend. Named gifts can be established with a starting contribution of $5,000 for expendable funds and a starting contribution of $25,000 for endowments. Multi-year commitments can provide donors the opportunity to plan giving over time.
Whether you are an individual, business, or foundation, there are many ways to support the Beach Museum of Art.
We are grateful for your interest in giving to the Beach Museum of Art, and we look forward to working with you to find the most appropriate and satisfying way to contribute. Please contact:
