The purposes of the Friends of the Beach Museum of Art are to raise funds through membership dues and projects for the acquisition of art and to assist in the conservation of the Marianna Kistler Beach Museum of Art collection. As the membership organization of the museum, the Friends are to support the museum, and create an interest and participation in it. The Friends also encourage interest in and appreciation of the fine arts at Kansas State University.
Membership is available to anyone who is interested in supporting the Beach Museum of Art. Members receive the benefits listed with that level, plus all the benefits of the levels below it:
Beach Buddies is for children from three to twelve ($25 per child). Benefits include:
The Friends of the Beach Museum of Art Business Partners are businesses who believe that art is integral to the quality of life in the community and who wish to promote the museum, K-State, and Manhattan. The business partners support the museum by providing funding for public programs and exhibitions.
The Student Friends of the Beach Museum of Art is dedicated to supporting the museum through service projects. Members help with activities such as Wildcat Welcome Week, All University Open House, fundraising events, and assistance with other projects.
