Winter/Spring 2016 ARTSmart Programs for Children and Families

Classes will focus on the semester's special exhibtions.  Each class includes gallery discussion and activities and an art project that will allow participants to explore media and techniques.

Classes are held the following weeks and feature the following exhibitions:

January 5-8: Art For Every Home (interior design)

February 2-5:  First Folio!  The Book That Gave Us Shakespeare (bookmaking)

March 8-11: Beneath the Prairie Sky: Photography by Jim Richardson (landscapes)

April 5-8: Behind the Glass Eye: Photographs by Toyo Miyatake (photography)

May 24-27:  Minidoka on My Mind: Paintings and Prints by Roger Shimomura (printmaking)

Cost is $3 per child; $1.50 for Friends of the Beach Museum of Art members. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Registration required. Contact 785-532-7718 or email klwalk@ksu.edu
