Event Rental
The UMB Theater and UMB Theater Foyer are available for rental by K-State University departments and affiliated groups and organizations for university-related events Monday-Friday 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Non-university groups may be eligible to rent museum facilities with certain restrictions.
Priority is given to Beach Museum of Art events and K-State departments, affiliated groups, and student organizations. Each request is considered based on the relationship of the proposed event to the Beach Museum of Art's mission, staff availability, and facility security.
The Beach Museum of Art does not host personal events such as birthday parties, weddings, receptions, fundraisers, or those of a religious or political nature. Admission fees to events held at the Beach Museum of Art may not be charged.

- Banquet (round tables and chairs) - occupancy 80
- Lecture (all chairs, no tables) - occupancy 80
- Meeting (tables and chairs) occupancy 40
- Reception (high top tables) occupancy - 40 UMB Foyer only, occupancy 140 UMB Theater & UMB Foyer
Food and Beverages
- Food must be provided by a licensed caterer.
- Food service supplies (dispensers, cups napkins, utensils, plates, etc.) must be provided by caterers or the scheduling organization
- Alcohol service must be approved in advance by K-State's Office of the President and served by a licensed caterer. No cash sales are allowed.
Facility fees
- Fees are $75 per hour (2-hour minimum)
- A full day fee is $500, defined as more than four hours.
- Facilities must be vacated within the allotted rental time so please plan accordingly.
- An additional $100 fee will be charged for events outside normal museum hours.
