Designated Beach Museum parking spots are located East of the museum and can be accessed from the Manhattan Ave and Vattier St entrance to K-State. Directions

The Beach Museum of Art is located at the intersection of 14th Street and Anderson Avenue on the Kansas State University campus. Please use the cross streets for directions in mapping software, mobile applications, and GPS. 701 Beach Lane is the designated address for postal service only.

From the west on I-70:

  • Take K-18 (exit 303).
  • follow it into Manhattan where it becomes Ft. Riley Boulevard.
  • From Ft. Riley Boulevard, turn left (north) on to 17th Street.
  • Stay on 17th Street to Anderson Avenue; turn right (south) and go to 14th Street.
  • Turn left (north) on to the K-State campus.
  • Make an immediate left-hand turn into the museum's parking lot.

From the east on I-70:

  • Take K-177 (exit 313).
  • K-177 enters Manhattan coming over a bridge; stay in the right hand lane to take the off-ramp.
  • Make a left-hand turn (north) onto Tuttle Creek Blvd.
  • Go north to Bluemont Avenue, go left (west).
  • Follow Bluemont Avenue to 14th Street.
  • Turn right (north) on to the K-State campus.
  • Make an immediate left-hand turn into the museum's parking lot.

Accessibility

Designated parking spaces are available in the museum visitor parking lot. The museum is fully accessible. Wheelchairs and a walker are located in the first floor lobby.

Parking

Parking for museum visitors is available in the small lot directly south of the museum. Please register your vehicle inside the museum at the information desk to avoid being ticketed. Parking in designated K-State lots is available by purchasing a permit through Parking Services.
